delete stored messages?

in my inbox I have 15 messages I can see,,but on my multicolored indicator bar it also says I have 25 stored messages,,i would like to delete them but not themessages in my inbox,,where or how can I find these stored messages?

ok I figured it out,,they were messages that were in the sent items ,,thanks anyway !
