Partying Hard?

So, since the Hollow Weenie goes til 10pm, are people planning to still do after parties? And will it still be wearing costumes if there is?
Damn, I thought this thread was going another direction by the title. I always try to party hard. A limp party isn't much fun for anyone.

But to stay on topic, I was hard most of the last spooky social and after party I attended. Surround yourself with the right ladies and partying hard is pretty easy to do.
That's good to know. I was kinda dreading turning around and hitting the road right after the party.

Although "Keep Austin Weird" rules 24x7, in San Antonio, expectations just a bit more restrained.

That said, however, during the traditional October holiday week, costumes in SA are almost as "de rigueur" as the swords and fancy uniforms during the French era of the Three Musketeers.

My guess also is that in San Antonio, since a "musket" is a long gun, there's no bar to carrying either the "sword" or the long gun, as long as all "menacing" is done in private.

(By the way, several ladies have told me there's no shortage of long guns in SA, thick guns, short guns, multi-loads, muzzled loaders, muffled loaders, etc. No one has yet stepped to admit a "double-barrel" as yet to the best of my knowledge. LOL!)

Shout out (high volume) to one of the usual after venues which glorifies in APs, and there are others at which arrangements can be made for costume lovers.
