FYI: "bookmetonight" scam

I just received an interesting call that I want to share with everyone. Perhaps this issue has come up and I simply haven't encountered it since I'm the new girl on the block???

A very polite guy just called and said he wanted to set up an appt and that we had chatted on yahoo IM earlier today. Well, I knew that wasn't true cause I've been too busy to chat.

Anyway, he tells me that he has never made a date with an escort before and had no clue where to start so he went to a website (bookmetonight.com), chatted with me, watched a video of me, and then paid $25 to get my phone number to make a date!!! WTF???

So I ask him what I looked like in the video. Apparently "Sara" was 40, 5'10", long blonde hair, long legs, huge breasts (of course, lol).

After he paid for the service, they gave him MY phone number.

He was a good sport about it and I explained that he had been scammed and that he should check out eccie or p411 to see real pics of the providers available in the area.

There are plenty of girls out there with fake pics but I had no idea there are services that deliberately misrepresent reputable providers.

This is mostly directed to all the beautiful ladies...you may want to start asking your potential clients where they saw your ad just to be sure they didn't get scammed then show up at your door thinking you are someone else. Unfortunately, I have never found a pair of stilettos that could make me 5'10".
Have you checked out this site , cause it look like an ad farm.
So he either clinks thru some links thinking he is still on boo~t.com or he's bs'n you.
Its your call.
Man
Yeah, I know it looks like an ad farm. I think he may be confused about exactly where he clicked but he sent me more info like the IM id that was being used, etc....enough info to give me the impression that he was telling the truth.

There could also potentially be multiple domains for the same scammer, who knows...just saying ladies may want to be aware of this since our phone numbers are out there and available to the public. The last thing we need is complaints about fake pics being used to get business.
Thanks for the info sara, this is an odd situation that other providers should be aware of......thanks

Wow that is strange!
I don't think it would have helped in this particular situation, but have you checked Provider Buzz? They are a good resource for checking on clients to see if there is a negative history. But even if you do, you should search it further. I had read a report about a man that was very negative, but when he contacted me, he seemed very nice. So I contacted another provider and she gave him the ok, saying he was sweet and very generous. He was everything she said and more! Just a little FYI.....

should this be in the alert forum?
