Ac repair help

I am needing help getting my ac looked at it is not turning on and it is hot and humid no fun. The mantience people here are really slow our kitchen light has not worked in a month. no telling when they will get around to fixing my ac. please just pm me thanks

Does your thermostat run on batteries? If so, you could just need new batteries if it's not coming on at all.

I don't think so it is lighting up showing temp in the apartment but the ac unit itself is not kicking on...
