I am getting my tonsals taken out Nov.18 and I was just wondering if anyone on here has gotten theirs taken out and if so how bad is it?? I heard its worse when your older and I am 26...Any insight on what I got myself into would be great.. Lol, that has a terrible ring to it "mucus issues" lol. It was the doctors mandate that I don't have ice cream, but not because I have a particular issue with it. Rather being that dairy products themselves cause mucus and it's supposed to be bad for the surgical site. I remember complaining about it because I thought I was gonna get guilt free ice cream, just like OHD. OK--we'll put up w/snot, just so he'll be QUIET!.." Or maybe it's b/c it was the early 1970's & they didn't know yet.
