Here's some ideas.

1. Places to stay....I.e. hotels. Best locations for clients....advantages disadvantages.

2. Places to eat.........(be descript as why that place is a must see.)

3. Places to avoid.

4. Latenight places to eat past midnight............(brothers chicken)

5. Places to take a number two that don't require a purchase..........(for the mardi gras travelor on the go...) lol

6. Fun stuff to do in the city besides eating and fornicating.......I know those are the most entertaining though.....(music, culture, ambiance, etc.)

7. Parking tips in the CBD.

We need a good consilidated thread for this.

I'm compiling a list but I might need help with the more cultured fun things to do in new orleans. We need this sticky bad........

Why would you want to cut down on the civil conversation that can happen in these posts?

Because people will eventually get tired of it........it will expedite why they are really posting their question inquiries.....to let potential clients know they are about to post and ad soon or to contact them now to find out the dates.

There are three separate threads of ladies asking for the same stuff and info....a consilidated list would not only be helpful, but also show we are making a valiant attempt to welcome them into the city. Not all peeps can respond to those inquiries timely, so it will show we do appreciate their inquiry.

Ask Lea Madison for my post from months ago for a couple of girls who were trying to figure out where to stay where to eat what to do in NOLA (NOT during M-G). You're right that we shouldn't re-invent the wheel every time--but the thing is we've already done a lot of the work already if we just copy & paste from older posts & put them in the sticky.

Most don't really post because they really want to get that information. It's just another way to advertise that you will be in town without violating any posting rules.
