I've been going since they were in the trailer, and frankly it's spoiled me on anyone else's brisket. Aaron's brisket is the best. Period. Muehler has come close, but no cigar.
It's damned good bbq, but I've never been there when the wait was less than 2 hours, even if I took the morning off to go stand in line. That's why I've always preordered and gone to pick it up. It works like a champ....unless those knuckleheads stop offering it.
Ah don't care how good Frankin's is 'posed ta be, Ah ain't waiting forever an' a day ta git me some chow. Bill Miller's has a drive-thru and they never runs out. Y'all Bar-B-Q snobs kin laff all ya want. But tha worst brisket Ah ever had still beat tha muthafuckin' shit out of a tofu hot dog an' a bag o' kale chips.
It's so good. I know no BBQ is worth standing in line. I did it last year with my business partner. We had cooler of beer and two beach chairs. Just like tailgating.
We got there at 9:20 and by time inside about 12:00 Aaron held back 4 ribs
for us. He was out of fatty brisket. The regular brisket and pulled pork
were so good. I'm placing my order at Stiles. It's real good , about 1/2,block from YR same side.
It really is good...but...the hassle makes it a one time thing. There is lots and lots of pretty damn good bbq available. Franklin's is when you just want to burn the better part of a work day fucking off.
I'm gonna offer up my services for you people.
Minimum wage per hr, I'll wait in line tailgating and purchase your orders!
Come on, I've always wanted to be payed to party
