How to find out about upcoming parties, luncheons and dinners in Austin that San Antonio members are welcome to participate in.

Hey folks.

Several of you have asked..... Yes we are open to having folks from San Antonio join us.in Austin parties, luncheons and dinners.

Details about specific parties, luncheons and dinners will not be discussed in this thread but can be found in the new private forum TRYST.

We have Gentleman's Club Parties for like minded guys that some of our favorite dancers attend. I don't know if you guys do this in San Antonio but if not, as I get involved more down here with business I will look at setting one up.

CK runs his events up in the Austin areas as many of you already know.

One of the ladies runs Poker Parties and another simply loves Parties for different occasions! Seems there are 16-20 parties a year in Austin.

There is a new private Clubhouse here on ECCIE called TRYST and if you click on TRYST and can't get in then send a PM to VictoriaLyn or myself. You will find specific details about different parties announced there and conversations about those events are totally open and uninhibited free from the Guidelines Mods have to enforce in threads in most other Forums.

Anyway.... Thanks for your support and we look forward to seeing and meeting some of you through the Holiday Season!

For those of you that may want to spread some Christmas Cheer and have not selected a cause yet......

There is a Fundraiser with a lot of great prizes going on. Details can be found in the Austin CoEd section http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=885212 or TRYST. This is our 4th year organizing this effort and it brings a lot of people together doing some good every year. Donations are turned into gifts for At Risk Kids and every item donated and penny raised goes straight into the hands of the kids. Not an Agency or even their parents who are often a part of their problems.

There was apparently a gathering in Austin yesterday that I had no knowledge of... I would have made the drive if I hadn't found out about it so last minute.

The way private forums are set up they are meant to be used for more exclusive groups.

That is NOT the purpose of TRYST. TRYST is an answer to all the RULE #30 issues for our area.

MODs in TRYST have to submit each member for admission to staff who click the buttons and turn the feature on. MOST of the Private Forums that exist obviously prefer exclusivity because if you are NOT a member, you don't even know they exist.

When TRYST was set up it was asked to turn it on for everyone that hailed from San Antonio to Austin and people could get kicked out or request out if they liked.

Unfortunately they, the owners, did not set it up that way.

Once a corp group develops and people are willing to step up and offer some ideas, TRYST will develop along the lines the membership wants. At some point I expect TRYST will follow the others into a more PRIVATE rather than Public position.

If you are interested, get involved.
