For me, it used to be pumpkin pie, but it's been fucked out by them putting pumpkin spice in everything, including milk.

I know this is going to gross some out, but one of my aunts used to make an oyster stuffing that was divine! She's no longer with us, but that's one of the things that I can draw on for a memory of her.

When I was growing up, all of the women in my family (grandmothers, aunts, mothers, sisters) made oyster stuffing for special occasions. Stuffing is not stuffing without fresh oysters.

I like oysters on the half shell. The last time I got away for a night out I had two dozen myself.

Maybe I have spent too much time in New Orleans.
