Eccie.net, Yelp For Escorts, Allows Users To Rate Sex Workers Like Restaurants

Ever wished you could find some user reviews of local escorts, just to make sure you don't end up with a dud on date night?

We're guessing not, but if you were, you'd be in luck.
Texas-based website Eccie.net allows users to rate and review local sex workers.

According to Jezebel, Eccie.net is not the first site of its kind, but Eccie.net's homepage boasts that the company is "the fastest growing escort review website online."

This growth might be curtailed, however, if Texas state senator Leticia Van De Putte gets her way. Van De Putte is currently pushing a bill through the senate that would "aid in slowly shutting down escort review websites that undoubtedly result in prostitution."

CBS DFW reporter Mireya Villarreal spoke to the Texas Attorney General’s office, who confirmed that the website was under investigation for links to illegal activity. Social worker Jenny Ford told Villarreal that she was particularly concerned about human trafficking, which she said is "happening everywhere. I mean, you can call and get somebody delivered to your house, to your apartment, or to a hotel,” Ford told CBS DFW.

Hopefully the providers and the hobbyists will let the senator know to chill the fuck out.

Does not meet the criteria for an alert.

Moved to the proper forum.

The 83rd Texas Legislature ended at the beginning of August, almost 4 months ago and the 84th Texas Legislature meets again on January 13th 2014.

It's safe to say we on Eccie are're safe for now, especially with how Obama Care will finally affect businesses bottom dollar and likely being a top priority, along with new tax laws going into effect for the 2013 Tax Year, and with Governor Perry resigning very soon.

Carry on ya'll!

And let's not forget that a significant number of our Texas Legislature probably patronize these ladies. No, they aren't stupid enough to post reviews (although I think a few come pretty close - too being stoopid, that is), but closing easy access to the warehouse is just as damaging to them as it would be to us.

And don't tell me that a lot of the Austin girls don't have regulars that are lawmakers...and I know when the Legislature is in session girls flock to Austin like the buzzards do to Hinckley, Ohio.
