hospital tomorrow...anxiety today

not sure why I feel the need to share this here....maybe just therapeutic to share. I have to go in for a procedure tomorrow where they will put me under (propofol is my friend haha) and run some tests and biopsies and make sure everything is still running well from previous surgeries I had....mainly preventative tests now to be sure I don't just croak 30-40 years too early.

I have to get it every year and every year it sucks. Not sure which is worse....the day in the hospital and the pain or the day before because of the anxiety and fasting that I have to do.

Anyway, thanks for reading a very off topic post even though most of you have never met me etc. Hopefully I'll be back on my feet by the end of the day tomorrow and ready to get going again.
Hope all goes well for you tomorrow. I think not knowing and waiting are the two worst things about Doctors and Hospitals. Maybe one of the lovely ladies can dress up in a nurse outfit to give you something pleasant to think about the next time you go in.
Keep thinking positive. Everything will go fine. A little prayer and good vibes sent your way. >hug<

Good luck. Hope all goes well.
I had a total of eight surgeries in the last year and a half so know how you're feeling. It will be fine!!! These doctors actually know what they're doing, believe it or not !! Stay well and relax, it will be ok.

You already trust the doc, just go with it. However, perhaps you're more concerned that they might find something. That’s totally natural. So fake yourself out based on the following: You want them to look just in case. So you're back to trusting the doc. Friend of mine has had stuff taken out a couple times, and has biopsies done every year. We hang a mini vacation fantasy around it and that helps.
Good luck to you, relax today and try to stay busy to take your mind off it.

Well, I didn't see this until now, you're probably all done by now. Hopefully everything went smoothly and well.

thanks everyone...back on my feet, things went pretty well....biopsies in next week but doc said everything seemed A.O.K.

Anxiety is over, procedures are over......Propofol actually let me rest for a while Wish I had that more often when I can't sleep hahaha.

Hope to celebrate soon ....
