How important are reviews?

Now Im not talking about the actual review with all the information. Im referring to a guys number. You know right under our name, how many we have.

I'll ask the ladies first. Does our number mean anything to you? When a guy contacts you, do you just look at his reviews and say oh he's over XX amount he should be good or No he has only 1 or no reviews so I won't see him. Is it about quantity or quality. Does the type of review us guys do matter. Ex. he has mostly spa reviews, or names of mostly bp girls… you know what I mean

Fellas, when it comes to reading what other guys post or review do you take that number into effect. Like I know if a review is down on an unknown girl, my determination depends on how many reviews he's done and whether I can trust the info. If a guy only has 1 review I won't see her, but a guy who has like 30+ yea. When it comes to posts does this number come into play as how much you value their opinion?

Lastly, when is necessary to do reviews? Personally I hate doing reviews, I don't know if I do good reviews. Ive done detailed penthouse letter reviews and Ive done simple just the facts. I never know where that balance is. I want to be entertaining yet informative. I only do on request mostly. Never of multiple encounters (though thats a lie). Do you have to do one for every encounter you have? I know guys who are well into the hundreds and some that are modestly low, then Im sure there are some in the middle. If I did one for every gal Ive seen my number would scare me I think.

Ladies if a guy has a really really high review count does that effect your decision to see them?

I only review on new girls I have never seen, when girl asks me to or when the event is special to both of use (like doubles). I normally look at writer of review knowing (from previous reviews) what kind of girl he likes will steer me towards a girl. Never see any girl without reviews.

I also don't like writing reviews.

I look at who he's reviewed. If he's reviewing girls who I consider reputable, then I'll take it as he's actually seen her. Otherwise we would have heard an alert. But I do ask anyways.

The number doesn't matter to me. I think that would be kind of hypocritical, don't you think?

The number means nothing to me. I'm with Tracy on that one, it'd make me a hypocrite, lol. I never assume anything about anyone, no matter how many reviews the gent has or lack of reviews. My screening doesn't slack just because the guy has a lot of reviews on reputable providers. There have been many times a gent hasn't been given a clean vouch even though he has tons of reviews. There are also the guys who have zero reviews or posts and are well vouched for, they just prefer to keep a low profile. Type of reviews done doesn't matter if he can give two up to date references from reputable providers and they vouch for him.

As far as reviews, I honestly couldn't care less. If someone feels compelled to write one, go for it, if not, I'm fine with that too. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate when the guy takes the time to write one, I'm just saying I'm fine either way. =-)

I have had many, many more encounters that my review count goes. I've done a few 2nd time reviews as well. I'd hope that a lot of the ladies look to see if I've seen reputable ladies, as well as how long I've been here and the amount and content within my posts on the boards. I would think that the ladies can learn a bit about a gentleman by his posting. Along with references given. I guess the saying is right ... You can't always judge a book by the cover.

A good review, what's for a provider not to like? Free advertising, better than a threAD.

A bad review, depends. You gotta look at the pattern. A pattern of 'bad' could lead a provider back to a life of BP.
