Damn, the one time in my life I wish I was a mechanic. The problem with a vehicle, is that it can be so many things. It could be something as simple as a fuel filter, to a plug fouling out, bad plug wires. It could be a carb. problem. I know this dont help, but as I said, I wish I was a mechanic. How old is the vehicle?
2006 ford.... i tell a mechanic i have a ford... they look at me like i have committed a crime....

Had a 98 Ford truck that ran great for 10 yrs, it could be that can't believe it isn't running right is so short a time.
i put it on the machine and they said all i need was a maintenance tune up... but I did that...
Sounds crazy but try adding some fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank. You can get it at any auto parts store and just follow the instructions. It wont hurt and may just fix your problem. I have seen one bottle of injector cleaner do wonders for a car and for a few bucks you can go wrong.

I bet it is the fuel filter, and that isn't hard to fix. Look under the bed, the filter should be right off the tank. Have a golf tee handy to plug the fuel line whn you take the filter off or gas will be everywhere. Replace your spark plugs, and air filter too while you're at it. Sounds like it is starved for fuel or air one way or the other.

well love i would try all that eharv mention change the plugs, put fuel injector in the gas tank but if you try to change the fuel filter good luck need at least two or three men just to take the cab off to replace the filter. i have already done that to my truck.
Sounds like the "maintenance tune-up" they were telling you about VL. Looks like you are gettting some sound advice from the fellas on this board....hope it works out.
Thank You gentlemen....
This is what I did before I bought an Ignition Coil...

I used the fuel injection cleaner, in hopes that maybe I drive too much and it was a little clogged up.... Nope didnt stop the putt putt...

I changed the Oil Filter, Air Filter and the Fuel Filter..... Nope putt putt still there.....

I had the Spark Plugs, Oil, and Coolant replaced. ... Putt Putt still there....

I bought the Ignition coil.. went to my dad with a puppy dog face and said last try...
He checked the top three, all of them good, he took the back three out, and put the front three in the back, then replaced the top three... Still putt putt...

My dad said he is not a "Mechanic".... lol... I guess I have other plans for him. he he he!

For those of you who want to help THANK YOU so so so much... The Brainstorming is appreciated. It's a good Truck and It's my prize... Everything will be ok and I will be back in the drivers seat in no time....

Besitos!
Here is another off the wall idea to try, Since all new vehicles are computer based . Try taking the positive side of the battery terminal off for aprox 5 minutes which lets the computer reset and erase all errors you might have showing up. I have fixed many cars doing this simple step.

Sounds like a plugged catalytic converter.........
A plugged who....

Sounds like a butt plug thingy! lol!

If it isn't one thing it is something else with this truck.
I guess I just need to maintain it better. That is what my dad says...
I just giggle and say ok!

Any who thanks guys maybe this thing will get fixed and i can get back to the simple life of Victoria Love!
TORQUE CONVERTER! OMG!
Hey I wish I was in your area! If you have not gotten this fixed already, The first thing I would look at on a ford that year would be the Mass air flow meter and the fuel pressure sensor. The ford MAF meters are bad about getting a little bug or something in them and the fuel pressure sensors on the fuel rail go bad alot. Pm me and I will help out all I can.
