Depends on how much you are looking to spend. I know a couple of hotels in town that can give pretty good discounts.

Cool, eg.
The Fairfield Inn is highly rated. It's maybe 2 miles outside of College Station city llimits, which may be advantageous.

Given that I know for a fact that LE reads the public area of our boards, I DO NOT recommend publically listing the "hobby friendly" hotels.

I know for a fact that many LE organizations read the public comments on this board and this forum.

The discussion of places to avoid (e.g. in Killeen, avoid hotels on Veteran's memorial, In CS, avoid the LaQuinta on Texas Ave) is safe and perfectly acceptable.

In the case of a specific recommendation for the lady, I recommend you do so in a PM.

The Fairfield Inn at 4613 S Texas Ave is only a few hundred yards outside of College Station city limits (sits at the site of the defunct A&W root beer drive in) and is two businesses from Cherry Ruffino's office.

Not my recommendation. Especially now that the CS cops have read this post.
