The Hobby Zone

Hi austinites. I have hobbied in Austin a few times over the years, but not what you would call frequently. I have a question, but first a definition:

In San Antonio, there is a de facto "Hobby Zone". This is the area where most eccie hobbying occurs, at least with respect to Incalls. Mainly because this is where the money is, and Incalls there are in striking distance for nooners and after-work fly-bys. In SA, the Hobby Zone is roughly bounded by a rectangle with Loop 1604 on the north, Loop 410 on the south, Bandera Rd on the west, and US 281 on the east. This is why when visiting providers ask where to stay, the majority response is: Medical Center or Airport areas.

So the question is:

Does Austin have a "Hobby Zone"?

If so, where would you say it is?

Also north of the Vagina Triangle... Arboretum area & Domain area. (Both along the 183) Look for parking spaces that say..
