A man enters a home with a woman (reportedly a prostitute), the husband arrives shortly after and discovers a stranger in his home.
A struggle ensues with the result of the husband being stabbed and the 'suspect' fleeing the home. The suspect is still at large.
A couple of things stood out in the storyline.
1. How was the woman known to be a prostitute?
I'm not saying she is or isn't, I am only saying the story in itself is lacking this detail. More than likely the woman is known to police.
2. The husband coming home and 'discovering' a stranger in his home.
This sounds like one of the BP scams to me.
Either The couple just did not expect the 'stranger' to have a knife and defend himself from being robbed or the suspect was able to disarm the 'jealous' husband during the scuffle and turned the tables on the husband.
3. So now there is a stabbing suspect on the loose.
More than likely the police know what went down and aren't 'actively' pursuing any leads.
4. The suspect, if there is any intelligence in this guy, has dumped the knife where it won't be found by kids.
5. If a gun had been thrown into the mix this could have turned into something much worse and the police would ACTIVELY be on the search.
In a way I feel for the suspect, a guy hooks up, goes to consummate the arrangement and gets setup for a scam. To our knowledge, limited by lack of reporting and possible evidence, the only person wounded is the husband.
Good for the suspect if he was not wounded and made it out with nothing more than jangled nerves.
But I have to say, he more than likely would have been much safer if he had known about or used eccie as his source for a more reliable provider.
To the ladies of the board, thanks for providing a safe recreation area.
