I love winter in Texas!

I had a 15 mile trip this morning. Took me two hours. Too many idiots who don't have a clue how to drive on ice.

First rule: never leave first gear!
Second rule: don't brake for the deer.
Third rule: don't stop on a hill. Nothing good happens after that.

Rover, you don't sound like your from south texas, maybe dallas. I'm proud to live in Texas, but not all texans are used to driving in cold weather conditions like northerners. I grew up in the north and what you said is completely true. I mention driving on ice is different than normal and usual response "why", and don't even mention black ice.

Not a criticism of Texans, just what your used to. Don't ask someone from New york to watch a tornado go by and not flip out, a texan probably say they just shot and put it on ytube and go back to what they were doing.

But then, I've seen massive crashes in the north from idiots, and people in texas who freak out if the wind blows more than 5 mph. go figure.
