I recently sent a message to a provider that lived in the area I was in, which is two hours away from my home. The response was to late and I was already headed back when I finally spoke to them.
I explained my situation and that I would have to try for a different time frame. Everything was cool, I got a missed call the other day, called it back and it was the provider. They said it was a missdial and of course no biggie.
I was pleased with how nice they were since I am new to any if this and sent a PM telling them again I was sorry we missed each other but very thankful at how kind they were. A few minutes later I get a message saying that as a new hobbyist it is good for my reputation to keep an appointment, which never was made, and that one was already scheduled for me at 3:00 today.
I am a disabled Veteran that can't really make those kinds of treks every other day. I may be to nice of a guy but I thought it was good to give a compliment on their kindness, now I feel like I'm being pressured into making an appointment that will put my body in severe pain just from the drive there, then drive all the way back.
I don't think I did anything wrong and I was going to reschudle for later this week but not after getting a message that feels like black mail.
Do all providers do this, or is this a special circumstance? Was I wrong in giving a compliment, being cordial over the phone, and appologizing?
