Windows 8

Well I just got my first windows 8 computer and I hate it.. its so weird and confusing..
I watched tutorials and stuff and kinda get it but its still weird.

I don't like how there isn't a back button just right there for me when on the internet.. or is there?? All my websites look a little different too...

Also I don't see a google chrome app, which I love google chrome.

Will it get better as I get more used to it??
I downloaded chrome works ok on 8.
Well I downloaded it but it keeps opening it in my desktop part.. is there a way to get it to open like an app the way the explorer does?
I don't know if I am even making sense I am so uncoordinated when it comes to computers.
I love the Windows 8! Once you get more used to it you will too. But I also have a Windows phone, which I treat like my baby lol

I did at first too girl. I kept screaming at it and thought it was broke lol! But the more I messed with it the easier it got.

8 is to Windows as electric drivetrains are to automobiles. You'll get the hang of it, D!
I just got a shell program that emulates Windows 7 (this was before the Windows 8 update). For me, it was a lot easier just to use the Windows Desktop. If you have a touchscreen, however, the Windows 8 platform may be easier to use once the learning curve has been overcome.

"I would be so much happier and more efficient if could do my emails, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, accounting, and data entry using the same interface as on my kids XBox," said no office worker ever.

As the incredibly low adoption rate shows, Windows 8 sucks. (Microsoft shareholders think so too).

The idea of one OS across all devices is good. The idea of defaulting millions and millions of desktop and laptop users who lack a touchscreen to an OS designed for use on a touch screen is amazingly bad.

Windows core annuity business is in the workplace. Windows 8 has single digit adoption there, and isn't showing much indication of growth. More IT folks still use XP than Windows 8. That speaks volumes.
Just hang in there for a little bit. Windows 8.1 is coming and has quite a bit of changes. I agree, Windows 8 mostly sucks but most users get used to it over time. I bought windows 8 for an upgrade about a year ago but never installed it. Windows 7 does everything I need but I am thinking about making the change with 8.1, just gotta see how the feedback from users is like.

Remember when Mac had the program window, and file folders, and Microsoft did not.
Remember when apple sued Microsoft when they emulated the Mac system.

And today, when you price a Microsoft machine and it is cheaper than a Mac are you still fooled?

If a Honda and a Cadillac got the same gas mileage and the total cost of the Cadillac was $10 more than the fucking Honda, would you spend the extra $10, or would you hold on to the $10 and suffer?

Been there, done that.
