Rumors, What Do You Ladies Think Of Rumor Spreading?

Rapid Fire's Avatar
There's a hobbyist goes by noraustinguy who is spreading rumors about several ladies that he has no first hand knowledge of via PM system. So my question is what do you think of someone who does this. Would you see such a person? I'm forwarding each of you ladies involved a copy of his PM. Any other ladies feel free to email me at rockerrick@hushmail.com for a copy. This guy has got to be stopped! And I'm the guy to do it!

I hate to say it but this site is full of rumors. Yes I agree with what you are saying. There is another post in reference to this. I wish the mods would remove the names, to me they are tainted even if they are ok medically. I cannot even take the chance.

One of my regulars has asked me if I ever saw one of the ones on the list, thankfully I had not.

The only way to stop those guys is not even read their posts or made any coments.

Wow that was quick. The other post is like GONE. Thank you mods
I'm glad I saw the list before it was edited... When speculation occurs I would rather avoid then to walk right into the fire.

Now I have a different question... If those girls have it can it be transmitted even if they are taking prescriptions or does that keep it from spreading?

I thought we weren't supposed to speculate regarding members medical conditions? Oh wait, I guess if you don't put a handle and just ask someone to PM you if they want to know then it's not breaking the rules.
Personal knowledge and experience is far different than being told someone suspects or someone heard. Sad to say, I have first hand knowledge of a provider who STARTED a rumor about another provider! How do I know, she admitted it?!

Anyone ever hear the saying "believe half of what you see and none of what you hear?!"

I can tell you I've seen at least 4 of the girls on that list and if any provider doesn't want to see me because of that, I say fine, because the list is a crock of shit!

BTW - rock on Rick!
Sorry Louigi... What I said came out wrong... Anyone can start a silly rumor. I apologize.

I wanna see the list... I must be behind apparently from not being on for a few days...
Spreading of rumors is fucked up... he said, she said bullshit doesn't make it so...

This time Rick is completely right. Rumors fly like wildfire. Especially about disease, providers and hobbyists are scared to death about them. One or two people start a rumor for whatever reason and everyone knows just like that and like the old saying " they couldn't print it if wasn't true", "where's there's smoke there's fire".

This I heard it from so-so, who heard it from so-so so it must be true. Maybe an alert or a list should be first hand knowledge or proof of any kind other than a rumor.

just a idea.

Just so you folks know, any ladies asking for the pm, the names will be redacted. The intent of the pm is what will be seen. Not helping the rumors.

That's the problem with hearing things second, third and fourth hand. And not knowing particulars can lead to false and damaging rumors. If you have first hand knowledge (being told, seeing physical signs), that's one thing. Speculating and passing on third hand knowledge is just that, conjecture, and it can have consequences.

Just ask yourself.... How would you feel if a provider was posting in info share...

"I hear [insert hobbyist name] has an std!"

Now imagine that the name was yours and you knew you were clean. How would you feel? How would all the girls you've reviewed (posted publicly here) feel?

Hard to put that toothpaste back in the tube.

So I happened across some interesting info, noraustinguy who claims to be soooo concerned with our communities health is a bit hypocritical in his own hobbying choices. Really would someone so concerned with catching something troll CL and see SW's???? Kind of makes me question his real motivation?

Maybe he has alternative reasons for trying to ruin the reputations of the ladies?
Best to just assume everyone has the possibility of being a carrier. No one has ever said that hobbying is risk free.
