Emotions, feelings and the hobby

Ok first off we all know this is a business transaction and what is written here is all fantasy of overactive adult minds.

After the last couple of weeks, I have been noticing a lot of drama and emotions in some of the post, whether I started them or others have started them.

One thing I realized is while this is a business transaction, that the parties involved have emotions and feelings. They are not just another notch on the bedpost.

Sure i have been guilty of falling for a provider or getting infatuated but you know what when you are intimate even though it is business, your emotions and feelings get brought into the equation, unless your dead or not even human and devoid of any feelings.

We as humans are emotional beings, some are more emotional than others and some even though they say are not affected by the actions of others, they are.

Whether it be a bad review on a lady, a nc/ns alert, provider on provider crime drama or for whatever reason rating a post the lowest you can give it.

Their are several times, I just want to give up and quit this board and hobby because of the jealousy, back biting, double crossing and lies that go on. It is so hard to keep straight.

Just remember we put ourselves out their in this hobby whether you are a provider or client and emotions and feelings can be hurt. These ladies are not just another slab of meat, another notch on your bedpost or bragging rights in the locker room or wherever you tell of your conquest.

Sure I have been butt hurt and disappointed in this hobby anybody that has done it for a certain amount of time is affected in some form or fashion unless you just don't give a flying monkeys ass.

For me I am one way on the board and totally different in person and the ladies that I have chosen to act with have real emotions and real feelings. How do I know, I have been at the end of their wrath and just sat their and let them vent.

So do you think emotions and feelings belong in the hobby? Or are you so callous or jealous you do not care?

When it starts affecting the ladies business than that should be a wake up call to say hey maybe these ladies are human after all and should be treated with a little more decency and respect. Granted other providers can be jealous to the point they post false reviews, post false ads to hurt others business.

You know what their are plenty of fish in the sea and no need for competition in the hobby. If you do not like a provider or a provider does not like another provider or whatever else combination you can think of, stop and ask yourself how you would feel if someone messed with your business.

For some ladies this is their career that they will do until they retire or no longer can do it anymore. Others this is just a launching pad to a brighter future that does not rely on the hobby for income.

Just the ramblings of a gentleman who cares about those that he is with or has been with.

So peace and remember, treat others as you want to be treated and Karma is a bitch and her bite stings.
I give this thread 5 stars Grizzly Bear!! You make some excellent points. If only everyone stopped to think about some of the things you mentioned....

well sometimes you have to learn from your mistakes and hope those around you can forgive you. I just thought this was a good reminder for everyone.

Hopefully people will let it sink in, but it is up to them, I wrote this from my heart.
+1.... I will give it five stars to Grizz,

Agreed Grizzy, way to stick up for the ladies. Don't let the other people get you down on here, I they don't like what you have to say its their personal issue not yours. You do whatever makes you happy. It is a business traction and one should always try to be professional and respectful. Just my ten cents. My two cents is free.

Griz, you should consider joining match.com. It seems you are looking for something that is going to be very difficult to find on this forum.
Or Christian mingle.

and now back to my thread.
This is either an Applause Post aimed at getting attention from the providers or just another sign of the feminization of males (and masculinization of females) in our culture.

But I read through Grizzly's post a few times and have to say that he is right on with this.

One thing that everyone has to remember is that everyone in this hobby is human and we all have emotions and feelings. If we didn't, we would all just be machines. Everyone is different and depending on their circumstances, may have a different attitude. The thing to remember is that some respect and compassion goes a long way in life.

Just think about how you treat people outside the hobby. I'm sure most of you go out of your way to get along with most people you encounter. And there are a lot more assholes outside of this hobby. Why do you do that? Because you were taught that life is easier if you get along with people, or because the consequences of not getting along can be worse than just biting your tongue and letting it slide off your back.

The next time you have interaction with someone in the hobby, think about that. Why not treat them like you would like to be treated? I'll bet than in almost every case, showing them respect and common courtesy will pay off with a pleasant experience for both of you. I have always treated everyone I met with respect and common courtesy. In many cases, It has paid off very well. I have met some very nice people and I have met a few awesome people in this hobby. I have also met some folks that I wish I had never met. But I was always polite and cordial. I treated them like I would want to be treated.

So here is my suggestion. The next time you run into a situation that upsets you, step back, take a day to think about it. See if your feelings change before you rush to the board and start throwing stones. Think about what Grizz said. It all makes sense. In fact a lot of it is common sense.

I know there are going to be a handful of you that read this and will take shots at me for it. Think twice before you start punching the keys. Think about how you would feel.

And for those of you that still don't give a shit...

Yes, I'll hike my skirt up. And I'll be careful that I don't get sand in my vag.
If the providers like this, hooray! They are people just like the rest of us.
If anyone else likes it. Hooray! They are people too!
If you like it. You are truly a nice person.

If you still feel the need to take jabs. Maybe you need a hug?

Have a lovely day!

Treating each other with respect during the 1-2 hours you are with them and letting yourself experience the "fantasy" is a big difference from getting emotionally attached to someone, in or out of the hobby. Not saying there is a right or wrong here but remember that in most cases this is the lady's main or only source of income. The match.com post may sound flippant but in probably 95% of the cases, the emotional attachment you feel towards the lady is her manipulating you for more money and repeated business. There are, of course, exceptions to every rule and Grizzley may very well find one or has. Three cheers for him if that is the case.

Now don't mistake this statement with whether you can have friends in the hobby, male and female. You certainly can and I do. But the friendship part is free. The business part is business.
