Title aside, not a dissimilar concept from the Saudi Golden Visa, but sounds initially as if it's different in practice. And this would replace the EB-5 program. The one the Kushner's were heavily criticized for trying to lure Chinese investments with.

How does this make you feel? Agree with it?

Better paying Millionaires than blood sucking leech illegals.

how many russkies bought a UK passport? Canadian? they probably have a dozen of them because they can afford it and when dealing with Vlad you can't have too many bail out plans eh?

You don't get citizenship with this golden visa. Literally compared it to the Saudi version. Read closer, Waco.

It's about permanent residency. Path to citizenship only. Why are you making the plan look worse than it is?

Is this correct.
Its ok to pay and support financially millions of illegals to come to America for future votes for one particular political party while it’s not ok for someone to apply for citizenship and pay to support themself.

You're tossing out an interesting jumble of stuff there.

First, this has nothing to do with illegals or the legal paths you feel are illegal.

Second, this is pitched as a replacement for EB5 with a higher price tag.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/...y-its-divisive

Questions abound because it's a concept of a plan. Doesn't speak to whether it's a cash payment or investment. Unclear how they pay down the debt with it. If there are similar caps on number available or even specific per country caps.

EB5 has been a source of contention on the right as a means of allowing rich CCP members to buy permanent residency on the cheap, snap up U.S. land and siphon off U.S. resources.

Think through this. How do you want it to work and what checks and balances do you want to mitigate risks? What unintended consequences would concern you?

What needs to be in place other than $4 million more that removes the nonsense, make-believe and fraud? Is there even an investment component here or is this specifically pay for a green card scenario? Multiple GC's actually. Since dependents would likely get them too.

As for the oligarch question... yes. They have $5m

Don't focus too heavily on them having to leave Russia. You don't have to permanently reside in the U.S. to be a permanent resident or be on a path to citizenship. It can be maintained indefinitely with regular travel.

The question is whether they want to hook into the U.S. global taxing regime. Oh... we want to eliminate the IRS.
