Original: As Townhall has been covering throughout this week, Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) made quite the big deal about embarking to El Salvador over his concerns for Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant and gang member he has affectionally dubbed a "Maryland man." The Wednesday trip turned out to be not so much of a success. However Van Hollen wants to refer to Abrego Garcia, though, does not change that he is an illegal immigrant. Further, court documents shared on Wednesday portray him as not exactly the upstanding figure that Democrats want you to believe he is.


The Department of Homeland Security shared over X court documents detailing how Abrego Garcia's wife sought a domestic violence restraining order against him. The paperwork is dated June 2021.


"This MS-13 gang member is not a sympathetic figure," the post added, reminding yet again about how he is an affiliated gang member.

Well, at first, I thought the guy should be brought back but from what I've read about him, fuck him. They could send his sorry ass to hell for all I care. That El Salvador prison sounds about as close as can be to hell so good riddance to him.

I have no sympathy for people like that guy because they contribute nothing to society other than future endangerment. I know the aforementioned sentence sounds close minded, but I'm not really open minded about freedoms for guys like that.

That senator picked the wrong guy to fight for but at least he got some national news camera time. Isn't that what it's all about now for politicians?

what's problematic here is he was never charged with a crime, and he was deported without due process and in defiance of the explicit orders of a federal judge. this was an extra-judicial deportation. so now the Trump admin is exempt from the rulings of the federal judiciary? is that what we learned from this case? Marbury vs. Madison has been overruled by executive fiat?

Trump is also making a mockery of his Supreme Court. they created a monster and now they're not quite sure what to do with him. they need to give him more explicit orders and see if he's ready to set off a Constitutional crisis, or not.
