I also pay plenty in taxes for the services I receive. The truth is that the state takes more of my money in taxes and sends it to those rural communities that you seem to think are being cheated in some way.

But you go ahead and celebrate the defunding of libraries and the corporation for public broadcasting. The truth is that the first libraries and public radio stations that will go under are those that are in the most rural communities.
EDIT: Now that I’ve thought about it some more defunding medicare and medicaid will cause healthcare to close in rural communities as well. Originally Posted by txdot-guy
