Cancelations

While I usually only see providers that are on P411, many of these now days also have a profile on Tryst. One of these providers was complaining that more people from Tryst reach out and then cancel.

I think everyone understands that cancellations at the last minute can happen, but always notify them that you can't make it. Just be honest if it might be difficult to make that time work if you are seeting a time up. I have said to just pencil me in and will try and firm up 24 to 48 hours in advance.

I've noticed a lot more providers wanting deposits, and the more people cancel the more likely deposits will be requested. I would hope that most providers would at least give you the first meeting without a deposit unless you cancelled, then a deposit if you wanted to make an appointment the next time..
Not a fan of deposits at all. A few regular providers took deposits and then quits the hobby, just not good

I just bring up the cancellations as it seems more providers are having the issue and deposits are a way to try and reduce that for them. Seems hotel rates are higher and low volume providers will take a bigger hit with last minute cancellations when you can't cancel the room.

Yep, that's why I had to request a cancellation fee/ deposits if you have no references. We're out of pocket for too much when people cancel with no heads up. it's unfortunate that it happens so often that we have to do it but it really happens often and providers (especially legitimate ones) have to protect themselves.

That being said I wouldn't recommend deposits with providers who aren't reviewed or are new to it!

I do understand the longer term and FMTY situations where a deposit is necessary, but almost always there was a small encounter first for people to get to know each other.

Deposits are complete BS and only gives protection to the provider. Many times, providers are late and sometimes so late the session has to be cancelled. Quite frequently the session is postponed by half an hour or so because Johnny1 paid a few hundred more for extra time all while expecting Johnny2 to wait his turn ,like a good boy and hand over the funds in full. Not to mention misleading pics.

Everyone in the hobby is sketchy. It would be greatly appreciated if providers would get off the high horse and stop acting like they run a legitimate business as if they were entrepreneurs.

Hoes and Johns keep it simple and have some respect.
