Why I carry a firearm in Church.

Here's a thought maybe we can put the National Guard Soldiers in all the Schools and Churches. I'm sure all parents would feel relieved, all the people in Church could close there eyes to pry again.

Àll the Cities that have the National Guard forced on them and don't want them and Trump wants the country to be safe it's a win win situation.

We have enough money to pay them so put them to good use. National Guard in Church's and School's. Trump can be a hero in stead of a Zero.

Your idea is a great one.

Maybe the NG should stop at churches in crime ridden areas, exactly as it's occurring in DC.

AND locally in every community they work in.

Why not have guard guys to stop at your picnic in the park and have a hotdog and a pop with you.

Perhaps if you learn to trust people in your neighborhood you wouldn't fear them

I mean any of you ever sat down with a cop and had a beer with him?

... Blimey! ... Our mate Bambino told me awhile-back that
people were actually LAUGHING like crazy birds
at Arch's suggestion here back in the 1970's...

... But, NOW - it surely seems a rather sensible solution! ...

I have a lot of guns. I lost the heart of hunting 30 years ago. At one time I would have went deer hunting the first day and if I got fired for it I still would have went.

Now you couldn't pay me to go. We all change. But be honest 30 years ago we didn't have assault rifles, we still don't need them on the streets. Would those kids
Still been shot. Yes. But maybe a few of them may have gotten away.

Think about that.
... As I've mentioned SO MANY times as a member of this site
and others - me problem with gun control is that I don't want
the Police and military to have all the guns.

That was me-own belief back in the olde country and is me belief Here.

And apparently THAT was also the belief of yer Forefathers.
Adams and Jefferson and what-not... 2nd Amendment.

I'm sure Jesus would love to see ppl rolling to church sporting a nice Glock or Desert Eagle with holy laser sights and Eucharistic extra capacity mags.

The AR platform has been around WAY more than 30 years. It’s nearly double that since Colt lost the patent and every weapons manufacturer came up with their own version, but the original Armalite went into production in the late 50s.

They’re great firearms, fun and easy to shoot, simple maintenance, and bulk ammo is relatively inexpensive. They’re a little underpowered IMO, unless you step up to 300 blackout, but great fun for varmints and plinking. They are popular for a reason. They’re good general purpose firearms that most people can afford, are fun to shoot and have tons of accessories available. If you’re scared of them don’t buy one.

Tell that to the Pashtuns, or Vietnamese. Not much romantic about the US losing wars for 7 decades. You think our government forces could take on a highly armed and trained citizenry when we couldn’t take sparsely populated areas defended by a handful of goat herders/fuckers who break 5 times a day for prayers. The US federal government has zero chance of subduing the population, by design.

Banning weapons wouldn’t have stopped this shooting. Admitting trannys are mentally ill, which they are, instead of glorifying and “confirming” them would’ve.

You can own a grenade launcher with the right paperwork I believe. Stupid comparison to effectively a 22, but typical for this forum that’s pretty clueless about firearms.

There's a 15 day wait on the handguns, but you can take the rifles right away.

I don’t know where you’re from, but there’s no wait period in PA. They use instachech.
