It does matter. This thread is about comparing deportation numbers and why Trump's having such a hard time doing what his predecessor did without all the extra bullshit.

Now, if you're going to go back and get a count from Obama and a count from Biden on self-deportarions and add then in then maybe you'll be comparing apples to apples but it would be for a different thread.

Plus, we have a subfocus on whether he's properly prioritizing criminals (he's not)

Nahhhh, that couldn't be it, could it?

Whats going to happen, is, the arrest of all these Antifa types, for obstruction of justice, and, let them rot in a DC or other jail for two years awaiting trial, with no bond, like the J6ers were treated.

Exactly as I watched outside an ICE office this morning, they blocked the gates, cops came out, pushed them all away, and anybody who FAFO got sent to jail.

And that ladies and gentlemen is hyperbole devoid of a right answer
If anything is clear about trump's stupid, racist deportations (i.e. the overwhelming majority are not violent criminals), it's that America is no more safe today than it was on 1/19/25.

At least his idiotic, racist cult gets to celebrate the fact that brown people are being harassed and abused, before being sent to countries they aren't even from...

But the ones who are actually committing violent crimes are all still here, because trump's nothing but a chickenshit blowhard.

I mean, can we name even one hardened, violent criminal who has been deported?

Re:Tommy’s point. I love the idea of deporting people to weird locations instead of where they came from. Talk about a great deterrent. Sending them home is no deterrent at all, they can just come back and try again. They’ll definitely think twice if they could end up in Equatorial Guinea or some other Central African shithole, 5000 miles from the nearest chalupa.

No. J. He promised a million deportations per year. That's his own internal metric confirmed by him, Vance and Miller.

That's why even if he gets to a point where he beats Obama's numbers, just barely... he's still a giant loser in this

Apparently you're not very versed in criminal court. Maybe that's a good thing and you're not a criminal-so I'll give ya that.

BUT.

According to NY state law, 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, which violates New York Penal Law § 175.10. This law states that falsifying business records is a felony. Originally Posted by eyecu2

Additionally if he wasn't POTUS- he'd be in jail right now. Thats' how much law breaking he did. Forget about the fines- it's about doing the right thing- and Trump never does.
If he wasn’t formerly POTUS, and at the time poised to be so again, the case would’ve never been brought.

Just like his deportations- Homan is NOT getting the bad hombres- but just the little dudes who are working labor, and trying to make ends meet. The real bad ones- are still out there- running amuck. Meanwhile there is an 11 yr old migrant kid watching his parents get rounded up and sent back to mexico. Imagine doing that to your neighbor and leaving their kid to fend for themselves. Fucking inhumane.
The kids can, and should, go back with them. If they came to the country illegally, they’re criminals. It’s as simple as that.
It never ceases to amaze me how the wackadoodle left tries to insert the word “racist” with anything they disagree with.

Deporting illegals isn’t racist. You’re in the country illegally you get to leave on your own or be forced out. Send the fake asylum seekers home or to another 3rd world location.

Whenever I hear the word racist used by a lib I now know it’s the right thing to do. Deport them all.

The isn't left vs right. Or his status as a known racist.

It's about why Trump's not better at this deportation game. He's had ample time to make up for shitting the couch in Term Uno
You really got Trump this time.

Look out.

Valid legal permanent resident held by ICE and potentially having that stripped and facing deportation over a $25 bad check from 10 years ago?

Truly the worst of the worst.

... See? ... it's NOT the crime - it's the "potential" ...

... Try again, lads...

So, you're looking for "the worst" and you come across illegals who are not the worst but still here illegally, do you think they should just be ignored?

That's like saying: We were looking for a murderer and found a bank robber but let him go since he wasn't a murderer.

That was not even an active case, and it's a fairly questionable violation to justify stripping permanent residency and processing for deportation.

This is what happens when you're shooting for big numbers instead of applying common sense scrutiny and prioritizing the worst of the worst.

They didn't come across her committing a crime. They had to go back a decade to find a $25 bad check. This is tailor made to suck up resources unnecessarily, on a questionable case that will enflame tensions and absolutely get tied up in the legal wrangling of due process.
