Because ND doesn't play in a conference and doesn't have to worry about a conference championship, I think they have an advantage. They play Wake Forest and then at Southern Cal, which is going to be tough, but because Southern Cal has their annual grudge match with UCLA the week before, I give the Irish the edge.

Norte Dame, is relevant again. At least for the moment. They play, statistically, the most difficult schedule of any remaining unbeaten team. If they win out against Wake Forest (duh), and a three loss USC, they certainly deserve to be in the BCS championship. With no conference championship to deal with? Yes, things are looking good for the Irish.
So, who do they play? I'm really under impressed with the SEC this year. Or, perhaps I'm just just overly impressed with the Texas Agricultue and Mechanical College. As someone who has followed Tivy Football, I fucking told Mack four years ago to overlook Johnny's wanna be gangsta personality and offer the boy. I'm pretty sure that Mr. football made up for that ONE arrest last year by beating the fucking number one team in the nation Mack! But again, I digress.
Origon looks pretty damn good. they souldn't loose to Cal or Stanford, but will have to deal with a Pac 10 championship game. I'd take them over ND minus 10 today. K-State? Tell me when they last recruited a top 100 high school recruit in Manhatten. DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER! Bill Snyder is easily the best coach in the nation. Saban, Miles, Kelly, Stoops? Those guys have it easy. Consider how much Bill has done with so little. Haven't heard much about Kansas State in a while? It's because that poor old bitch tried to retire and enjoy some well earned chill time. His former team became irrelevant, so at 72, the poor bastard decided he had to go back to work. Tomorrow, he will probably have the number one team in the nation. He's got dangerous trap games at Baylor and Texas, but survive those and I think the old man deserves a shot against the Catholics... I mean Irish. I take K- State over ND minus 6 in the national championship.
