First concert La Mafia 1998 at the Rodeo.

Most memorable Gigantour 2012 ( Lacuna Coil, Volbeat [ spent most of their set drinking and talking to a friend I met] Motörhead had to back out and Megadeth)
Yep, true dat bruh!

Back in the day, it was fun to go to concerts. Especially R&B ones!

I would've loved to have went to that Rufus/Chaka concert back then to see her titties fall out of that top. Nobody at my school talked about it so I assumed they didn't go to the show.

I forgot to add these shows to my list:
Parliament/Funkadelic, BarKays, Cameo(1978)
Gerald & Eddie Levert "The Father/Son Tour"(2005) Originally Posted by kerwil62

I saw Cameo when they had the full 9 member line up. They were in Dallas with Rick James Head lining and Teena Marie was the opening act.

Teena did her thing.......Cameo was hyped and put on a great show....When Rick closed it out......him and teena marie did everything but get naked on the stage......then after the show, Rick jumped into the audience because the police were about to arrest them for doing drugs on the stage openly.

Had a good friend that was a Radio DJ back in the 80's...Got free tickets to this festival.....Had barkays, The whispers....Manhattans...Patti Labelle, FoxXy......It was an outdoor arena....and it was pouring down rain. I had a date with me and we were under the stage and it is like a flood under the stage. They had 2X6's to walk on so you wouldn't be in the water. I was in the military then and walking on the other side of the board towards us were the two twins from the Whispers.,,,There was this stand off........They were about to go on. They looked at me and told me. Step off.......We are about to go to work........LOL

First concert I went to was to see Drake in 2010, it was sorta meh. Dude can entertain a crowd though.

Saw 50 Cent in 2011 for my second show, that was cool. Also saw Drake again that year, I enjoyed his second show more....

And for the record, I'm not really a fan of Drake or his music, but I go to his shows.
First - ZZ Top in the Oklahoma City Music Hall in November 1973 - symphony hall w/ incredible acoustics.

Most memorable - the first time I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble - at Fitzerald's in The Heights about 1978 or 1979 (memory impairment) - FOR $4.00.

Was all set to see Led Zepplin in 1980 when they were heading to Houston. But, John Paul Jones died and all shows were canceled.

I forgot about "Yes" and "Jethro Tull". But I just listed "Most Memorable" and not all.

First rap concert:

Timex Social Club, LL Cool J, Whodini, Run DMC(Astroworld Pavilion, 1986)

Only memorable because it was my first one. It was a good show! Just not fond of rap concerts because a lot of unnecessary folks on stage that don't need to be there. Ain't nothing like seeing real musicians playing real instruments.

There's a concert video of them performing at the Summit back in 1975. No instrument destruction took place, even though Pete Townshend threw his guitar up in the air. He caught it and laid it against the amps, then the band takes a bow and left the stage.
