I still think if you pay $150 to a BP ad you won't get busted.
Yeah right.
The same is saying if I am paid $1000 per hour I will not get busted because it is a client willing to pay higher amounts. It just ain't so.
I think they did it because it was easier to catch the "lower end". Since the D.A. appears to do it for her own publicity, she probably would prefer to get the "high end", except that it would take more effort because they are likely to be more careful to avoid stings. Did he get off easy? I think so.
Under that logic, those who drink fine wines, exotic, expensive beers and high end liquor can drive drunk, only those of us that drink common beer get DWis.
By going exclusively after the lower end, Nassau County has identified itself as an entity that is allowing those with money to be above the law.

Very interesting insight! The money amount doesn't matter. The ads used in stings are complete lies anyways so they can advertise any amount they want. Lower amounts will just attract more guys into their net. If they advertise $200 you'll still be walking into a trap.
Perhaps it was their trial run and they wanted to be sure men could afford the women.
Maybe the next sweep will be at the $150 rate. Perhaps not. Originally Posted by SweetElizabeth
