Best Sandwich Shops in San Antonio?

I am a big FOODIE
..Omg!..even though I've had a residence here for 8 mos. haven't been any where.Is there a Jersey Mikes or Lennys sub shop they have them in dallas.I'm not sure but JASONS DELI would be my choice but not my first if S.A has a Jersey Mikes. Bon appetit! Sweetie..

i go to jerusalem grill all the time for gyro or shwarma sandwiches. a couple of mega-honeys there during lunch hour

I have to say, after living in North Jersey and working in manhattan for many years, real delis do not exist down here. Nor do good bagels or Italian food!
I once went to an Italian place and asked for manicotti, the waiter replied "what's that". Asked a deli for Capicola on a roll, did not what that was. These are staples in north jersey.....
Now as for BBQ.....Texas wins!

If you like Philly Cheesesteaks, check out Boston Subworks at the corner of West Ave. and Nacoma, close to the airport off of 281. Have only tried the awesome cheesesteak, best in SA, but there are other options on the menu.

i have tried all of these places they r ok
the one i like os on lockhill selma and huebner in a texaco i know gas station food
but they have a deli in there and it is the closest i get to new york sandwiches
there Philly cheese steak is really great
give them a try u will not regret it
that is a true mom and pop operation..................... ..........
ask for the owner......................... .........

Try Gino's Deli it's in a texaco station off of Lockhill Selma and huebner road or try Bumdoodlers in boerne texas it's was started by a mom and dad and now ran by their daughter.
