Due to the circumstances I think the agency could have eaten the 50 dollar difference and kept a happy customer.Yes they absolutely could have. It would have been better for them to do that rather than lose a client. That is her rate though, so they weren't trying to upsell him as he mentioned.
As for the extra money on the clients end...I can only speak for myself but I have a system for getting hobby funds and it does NOT include ATM or credit card withdrawals. That method would pose a HUGE problem for me. Originally Posted by L.A.
I can understand your second point. My situation is different, but I think if I was in the situation you are in, I would have something where I could access additional funds on the fly if need be. A prepaid card or something, or even just keep some gift cards stashed somewhere on hand and see if the provider will accept that to make up for the difference.
