List of NOT Reference friendly providers..

Great thread and thanks to Bailey, Slave and Candi for insightful and correct statements

I travel every week and find it very very difficult to keep references on gents. I have a horrible scatter brain and usually do not remember names, handles, or numbers. I do however remember everyones faces and if they can give me a quick call and say "Hey Taylor I saw you here for this amount of time and talked about blah and blah", also with a lil description with what they look like and who they want to me to give a references to, works every time!!

I find it very hard to give a reference for some ladies when all they say is "Hey this is a guys number can I get a reference?"

Most chances are no, I'm sorry I need to know where I saw the guy how long ago it was and something to help spark a memory of him.

I do however will remember gents I see on a regular basis over a long period of time or if they are on p411, because I will always after a session write a note of them on the notes page by their name so I can easily remember who they are.

I know this may not be the case for everyone, but I do travel every week and it does get hectic and very difficult to keep information on every person I see in every city. I Try ladies, not everyones the same in there thinking or methods what works for some people does not always work for the next.

Like Rover, I mostly rely on meeting ladies at social events instead of relying on references.

I do think that the clients can help out a bit though. The few times that I wanted to see someone that I hadn't met, I have contacted the ladies that I was planning on using as a reference beforehand to let them know that I was going to be using them as a reference and asked them if they would and how they would prefer to be contacted. If someone was hesitant or didn't contact me back, I would just go to the next person.

I have at times even looked at providers reviews and if they saw someone I personally knew, I would give them that persons name so they could at least be assured I wasn't LE. Of course I would check with the other hobbiest before doing this as well.

As Bailey and others have said, I think that jealousy should have no place in this hobby unless it's a SB/SD type of arrangement.

Also I think it has to do a lot with someones personality and the way they think, My mind can hardly stay focused on one thing. I have a hard time sitting still and making a grocery list let alone sitting down trying to remember everyone I saw and their life story so I can refer them. Sometimes my day Is so busy that I can hardly remember the first client I saw that day let alone what number they called me from. I know it different with everyone, thats just my 2cents.

I do not necessarily think every girl in the Hobby is lazy, spiteful, angry or jealous, some ladies just have very busy days and like me have a horrible time with memory. :/

I too have a VERY bad memory and the attention span of a 4 year old at times lol. That is why I think that the computer helps me SOOO much. I started filing my gmail correspondence away in very specific folders (some don't like that I do that but oh well) so it is easier for me to reference when a lady contacts me to do so.

I would also like to say that while I do not tour as much as yourself... my best friend, Ember Simmers, does tour for weeks at a time... and you are RIGHT it is VERY HARD to keep up with everything...

Finding a hotel, places to eat, do laundry etc, posting on DIFFERENT BOARDS for each CITY... can all be very time consuming and a lot of people don't realize everything that ladies who tour have to take care of...

I have heard nothing but wonderful things about you...

someone mentioned about finding someone in common might help. I try to look for past reviews and see if provider has done doubles with or if when your with a provider if she mentions being friends with someone.

First, thank you Candi for starting this thread. I will check out the website you mentioned.
Thanks also to Bailey for providing a short list of ref friendly ladies. Anyone may pm me about other "RFP's" Reference Friendly Providers. I will be contacting one today.

I think one of the most important reasons for being on Eccie is for safety reasons-for all. So why be on Eccie, if you are not going to provide references?

Some providers charge extra to newbies and I completely understand-but they better darn well give a reference if they are gonna charge extra or be ready to get a "NO" review.

I agree with darter above, us clients need to help our ladies out by providing as much info the first time and making sure our references can remember us by giving a heads up that a request will be forthcoming and asking how they prefer to be contacted.

We have actually had to trick some providers by texting them first with something generic like Hey Candi? then when they reply yes, we state this is gfx we need a ref check on so and so. If we state we need a ref check right away, they ignore us. I know it shouldn't be that way... nevertheless ...

Well, that is simply SHAMEFUL!! It really is... and I am sorry to hear that you have had to resort to lying in order to get a reference...

There is really no excuse for that sort of behavior...it is not professional and all it does is indicate a lack of professionalism by that provider...

I am TRULY SHOCKED!! I guess that I am truly naive because I see no reason for this behavior... I had a provider TWO WEEKS ago who was touring SA and during a 2 hour period she CALLED me 4 times, sent me 2 texts and a pm via ECCIE...

Now, I was with one of my men and my phone was off so I was surprised by how many times this young lady tried to reach me... and I will have to admit I was a bit MIFFED because while DUE DILIGENCE is important... it is also important to respect that the other provider also has a LIFE and a SCHEDULE and I tell all of my men to allow 24 to 48 hours for the ladies to respond to my request...

Since, I was miffed I told Ember I was going to make her wait!!! However, I am so OCD that when Ember texted me 30 minutes later she asked how long I lasted before sending out the REFERENCE REQUEST and I laughingly replied "I lasted FIVE WHOLE MINUTES"!! LOL...

Simply put, I genuinely do not want any of my men to have to suffer because of a delay in a reference from me and I don't want another lady to lose out financially... I just think that if I put GOOD KARMA out there... then it will come back to me TWOFOLD...

However, I have to say that I think every provider should take a moment to say THANK YOU when you are given a reference... be it timely or not... The young lady who called, texted and pm'd me... did not even take the time to thank me for getting back to her in under 3 hours!!

Yes, the way I have my work program figured out, has worked well.
When Im tour I'll see 2-3 Gentlemen a day, always off on Sundays anywhere. Most Gentlemen book over an hour, as you guys know Gentlemen elsewhere pay double (price on website), hey touring costs! That very quickly adds up to over $$$$ daily. Then when I come home to SA, I can relax and see my regulars, a few new friends, but really take it slow. I see 1 Gentlemen a day usually here, sometimes 2. Ive for sure had my busier "hustling" times in the past, seeing several clients a day. Ive worked hard, so I can relax now more altogether! Point of being on the road working 9 months out the year, its the best vacation ever coming home and doing nothing and still being able to be financially stable and then some! So to me now, I think Im low volume, here for sure.

And with explanation! Point being that she was more than kind to not only double check, also which would take more time away from her to double check for me. She was not in town then, she couldnt and wouldnt profit by a past client contacting her, that was purely her trying to for sure help a fellow provider with safe info.
