I really don't care about the 1st amendment ramifications of all the links he has found.

I do care that he has come over here and threatened to repost something tbat the local mod took down.

I hope that makes sense.

Different rules for different folks I guess..
Yet another thing that really isn't that complicated....no Whispers isn't a mod.

I guess I'm too much of simpleton to make that mistake...and instead look at his posting history.

In fact, I'm starting to wonder if you read any of his posts at all

No not his posts on this thread....his other board posts. Gentlemen, your new leader should be named helilultz.

Carry on and keep the facepalms coming.

From my point of view we in kc are lucky to have JCM800 volunteering his valuable time. I say that because he has one of the most important characteristics a mod should have... he doesn't care about leveraging his mod status for his own personal agenda.

I'm not going to bother researching the issues discussed in this thread. Mule and Whispers are the type that look at every post from a gotcha point of view. Look at the mules posts. Almost half are pointing out his interpretation of a guideline. That's why some folks hang out on this board. Not me. The mule and whispers approach their issues like they are filing briefs in a free speech case before the supreme court of hookers board. Truth is its not some noble cause they are promoting. They are not fighting for a really good reason. They are just doing what they enjoy doing... trying to show they know the guidelines. What a fucking strange use of this board - sort of like pretending to be a mod.

Here is one for the mod wannabees to discuss.. do the guidelines say anything about any member using "mod" in his signature or name? Can someone hold themselves out to be a mod when they are not? If that is not in the guidelines, does an admin have the basis to remove "mod" from a pretend mods name?

I'm interested in your research on that mule. I would like your reply to include multiple citations, and give me some of that blue font.

I missed the original link...but searched out the story and quickly found a mug shot...I didnt recognize her, but if I did, presto - the real world/eccie connection is made. Even if the link didnt have a mug shot, internet stories are often updated, and it may eventually include the mug shot.

So why not just say "hey there's a provider with hiv in columbia, go check it out"?

Why do we absolutely have to have the link?

None of those questions really matter..... What matters is whether or not she is a Member here on ECCIE that someone was attempting to tie to real world information...If not there was no violation of the Guidelines.

And frankly its more than just her privacy....maybe its bad for a link to be made between the board and attempted murder...you think? As in the board may get included in the investigation if it turns out she utilized the board in the commission of the crime.

Can we just let it go....and let people look it up themselves...sans sit ins and protest marches.

Naw...

And Whispers....in any aspect of life, be it the business world, the military, you name it.....coming over here to challenge the local mod without any backchannel discussion is considered "bad form".. I really can't believe how you've acted. Originally Posted by lacrew_2000

Gentlemen,

Whispers has returned. The rebel without a clue who wants to 'school' the mod...not where he lives and hobbies....but everywhere else in the nation....because for reasons I can't comprehend, its not only his business - he his duty bound to fix every board he stumbles upon.

Your anti-mod saviour is here. Rally around him. He's the 'every man's mod'....except he isn't...but ignore that. And Whisper please, please keep at it.

The officer had responded to an online ad as part of a joint effort between Columbia police and the FBI to crack down on prostitution.

initially was charged with misdemeanor prostitution before prosecutors amended the charges this week to knowingly being infected with HIV while performing the act of prostitution.

Unfortunately she's fucking uglier then shit and the world will get exposed to it and other ugly women will think they can make money too and we could see an influx of fuglies.

With pictures as well as the dates of the arrest and location I felt it was a pretty easy thing to figure out so I checked the Ad sections for 3 weeks of the city she was arrested in no one remotely resembling her has advertised on ECCIE that bore a resemblance. There is no one that resembles her with a showcase in the areas either.... I searched all of the cities that the MOD would have been familair with (IMO)

I did find an ad on BackPage that appeared to be her and I both emailed as well as texted the number. I stated I was a client interested in booking and asked if she had any reviews on any sites or a friend available with reviews that she might recommend. I received no response, I did not expect one unless maybe she had a pimp that posted all that and thought maybe he would have another fugly he needed to torn out and might respond.

I also searched the number in review sections of this and another board and found nothing related.

Interestingly, the Ad was gone the next day

it was about 30 minutes of research.... certainly not a thorough job....

With all that in mind I can find absolutely no reason for the link to be removed that is supported by the guidelines. Had the OP TIED the story to a specific provider THAT would have been a violation. Not knowing what was removed only MODs, Admins and Owners have access to the copy of the post that the MOD editing would have needed to make in order to properly document his actions for the owner.

From what I understand nothing is ever truly removed... Just whisked away to private ares reserved for the amusement of MODville.

In the absence of some post made by the OP trying to tie this story to a specific member of ECCIE, there should have been no removal of the link IMO based on ECCIE Guidelines.

It is also my opinion that there was no such attempt by the OP to connect the story to a member so I doubt that exists for the MOD to use as justification. If it did the OP should probably have received some level of sanction. Most likely a ban for some period.

As I have stated more than once....

I think you simply have a new MOD that does not totally understand the guidelines that made a mistake.

Unfortunately he has not manned up and owned the mistake and fixed the errors.

You folks have to live with him. I'm just passing through and will only be in the area for a couple of weeks towards the end of the month.

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

When you put them on a pedestal and revere their words... some... tend to let it go to their heads and think they are GODMODs and rule their little areas with a personal agenda deciding what you can and cannot discuss...

They also see an increase in the perks of being a MOD and your old and fat chicks as well as the Uglies will start giving them free pussy and BJs to look after them...

They were members once.... Save them from themselves if nothing else!

It was not a threat. It was a statement based on a belief that a MOD made a mistake and that the information posted had value to members of the board. The link and story have been reposted because I believe the guidelines allow for it..

I hope that makes sense.

I've been around for 15 years. I have a bit of a reputation for posting things that are controversial, making people think as well as for questioning MODs, admins and even owners at times for clarification whereas the majority of members simply accept what a MOD does as absolute.

Sometimes people send me links to issues they think are wrong and ask me to comment. Othertimes I stumble across them. my Daughter and Grandkids live in Wichita and I'm heading there as well as to St Louis for a few days and was looking in the area anyway and came across this.

I also saw other edits made and information removed as well as threads locked without comment. All actions that are frowned upon by the owners as well as members in other areas that know better.

I commented.

Fucked up that I ask questions relevant to the membership of the board?

I guess some tend to think so.

Fucked because I ask them in public rather than behind the scenes?

Not at all. This has sparked debate, brought forth differing opinions and people learn from it.

One thing learned here is that you have a MOD that refuses to comment on or justify his actions when questioned and chooses to ignore it. Unfortunately he is new.... I've seen that attitude grow in others when unchecked..... The members here will need to decide how much of it they will tolerate.... It leads to locked and edited reviews or unfavorable reviews vanishing as well as other things.

It isn't talked about a lot but on your subscription page you will see that the board allows for members that have a specific desire or group they would like to host outside of the public eyes to buy their own forums. It's called a CLUBHouse and for the most part you never know about them unless you are invited to join....

Attachment 328619

I host a number of Meet and Greets in the Austin area at local Strip Clubs for guys into the Strip Club Scene and ladies interested as well... I also do a meet and greet for Sugar Daddy's to meet and share information and I run a Christmas Fundraiser for the last 4 years.

There was a lot of pressure to move these things off the board and to not allow public discussion of them so I paid for a forum.

Attachment 328620

When you own the forum you pick your MODs and make your own Guidelines. If you ever get invited to join one be prepared for a different level of communication than what you see in public forums. They exist for all sorts of reasons behind the scenes.... One rule most of the forum owners have is .... you don't talk about the forum.... They are invite only....

I put TRYST together for a different purpose. Anyone that asks can join and I am one of those that Moderate it however due to it's purpose.... It really requires no intervention.

Attachment 328621

We accept just about anyone that wants to join. and it's really about hosting get togetherness and social events.

The only way it differed is that I also host a Short Term Availability Thread. It was tried more than once in Austin Forums but the ladies refused to follow the rules and the MODs tired of having to deal with it all the time and put it to an end.

It is not an overly popular subject that Admins or Owners like to deal with because there is already and Advertising Section as well as Signature Lines and Weekend Ads and threADS allowed and there exists no universal right for there to be one so Austin no longer had one. Someone asked if I would lend some support and I did.

Out of site Out of mind tends to be the deal on that subject... It does not seem to get a lot of use. The idea was for those that believed in it to self police it and prove it could work without a lot of effort and then get the MODS to allow for it in the regular Forums.

Anyway....

Technically..... As a byproduct of owning a forum on ECCIE.. I AM a Mod

That aside....

ALL members have a responsibility for knowing the guidelines and all members should be involved in policing themselves and the areas they enjoy. MODs should CERTAINLY know those guidelines....

Back to the subject matter....

Let me use this to make a point relating to this subject..... When I speak on issues relating to the Guidelines why should it matter if I am a MOD or a member? That is the point I am making.

There are ONE set of Guidelines for the board. Local MODs do not get to change their meaning or add their own rules....

and they SHOULD know and understand them before they enforce them or remove information from the board.

There really are only a few subjects that I get involved in..

1) Information being removed from the board
2) Locked Threads
Both of those reek of censorship and control
3) Screening
I really am against providing a Provider or any 3rd party company with any personal information. I was outed once and know the damage it can do in the wrong hands
4) Discussions regarding gifts and tips....
These whores make more than my Dr or Dentist as well as some Attorneys I know and I don't tip them either.... And on my Birthday and Christmas I tend to be the one getting something in a show of appreciation from the ladies I spend my money on.
5) Some whore trying to tell me how to spend my money or who I should see...
6)Tributes to whores started by their PWWKS

Outside of those things I tend to make a comment or two and move on.
