Champion Breeds: Bull Mastiff vs. Rhodesian Ridgeback || Akita vs. Siberian Husky

I'm not sure what this breed is but I don't think we'll ever see a dog as intelligent as this one. For those that have 8 min to spare it will be one of the best 8 min you've ever spent if you watch this.

I hate when I'm out on a walk with my dogs and a neighbor has dangerous dogs running around. I always walk my dogs on a leash in the community but not if we're in the woods. Once 2 huge Rotts ran from their front door to me and my dogs as we were walking down the street. I keep a police night stick in my hand and I pack heat but keep it in my backpack. I pulled my dogs close and swung the night stick ferociously. The Rotts stayed just on the outside of my swings. I told the home owner he's going to get his dogs killed if he doesn't prevent them from running up to attack people. I would hate to do that but I'm not letting a Rott kill my dogs. I never run from a business dog when I have my dogs with me and I've had several run-ins. I would hate to cause them harm but its the master / owner who's irresponsible.

At ground level, dachshunds can be scary little fuckers. I learned that lesson when a pitbull attacked a dachshund. The pit picked the weinie up by the front leg. I tackled the pit, open field tackle, I released the weinie. Then the weinie started attacking the pitbull while I was holding it down. I could not move without assistance, I torn my hamstring saving the weinie. Seeing the weinie shooting in with teeth bared ... the little shit had some big teeth.

If you go with a large breed I'd make sure to buy only from a reputable breeder that can show lineage without signs of hip/elbow dysplasia and who breeds for conformation to breed standards not for mega size.

Big dogs already are predisposed to joint problems, it only makes it worse when dumbass backyard breeders purposely breed for sizes larger than they should be.

I spent almost $1500 on my Rott but he comes from a long line of Champions and they guaranteed him for 2 years against dysplasia, they would have taken him back and given me another one. Not that I'd have taken them up on it, but it shows their commitment to breeding healthy dogs.

Their lifespans are already short enough at roughly 9 years, I wanted to be sure to get one with as healthy genes as possible so he could have a great long healthy life.

They are very intelligent and instinctive with their pack(people).
They will test you for dominance on a regular basis but once established they are super loyal. Because of the hearding instincts they can be a little unpredictable and mouthy.
