Uh...UMKC is Division 1. They are in the Western Athletic Conference.

As a KU fan myself, I could give a crap about what goes on at MU now. Losing to another blue blood school, particularly one we may have to go through again if we want to win a national championship, is far worse than MU losing to UMKC.
