A specific question for a Provider named FrankieMoore

Can't help but find this all interesting. If I'm reading this right what Whispers is asking and what is being perhaps not quite understood is this:

Providers sharing Driver's License amongst selves to screen: Expected

Provider offering Driver's License to anyone who wants it (including hobbyists): Is that OK?

Is that OK even if there are a number of credible reports by respected providers that the guy is robbing, threatening and intimidating providers in order to enable some kind of deserved retribution?

I can see how that's a question worthy of discussion, even if one might speculate that the question was offered as a veiled criticism. To date the consensus has been "no. never. period." Is the new consensus "special exception if enough people are convinced the guy's dangerous enough"?

Obviously at some level the answer to that is yes. If everyone thinks you did right, no consequence to you. However are there other consequences, like an increased unwillingness to provide screening information based on the fear that the bar may shift again, or in the event one is unfairly accused?

Why isn't anyone willing to discuss the pros and cons of that?

While there has been considerable controversy over board policy there is no argument regarding your reported actions and behavior as being a very serious concern to the community.

There is also no argument regarding the fact that any proven threat to the community needs to be strongly and swiftly dealt with through whatever means necessary that are appropriate and effective.

Karma is a bitch and know that for every injustice you have committed life will pay you back tenfold. That is not in any way a threat. That is simply how life works.

Do you know how much review content would be edited if staff got involved in verifying whether or not things happened?

Some doors do not get opened because of where they lead...

You have to consider that some ladies would not necessarily KNOW they saw a member of ECCIE.

HYPOTHETICALLY OF COURSE......... A caustic and abrasive guy creates a persona years back that becomes a trusted guy with references and endorsements through one of the verification services..... Over the years he sees ladies and keeps current references.... One day he decides to write some reviews..... Because he is less than popular in the community ladies jump up and scream "I never saw him"...

It could be they just never knew WHO he was on the board...

This whole cluster-fuck has made me reevaluate my decision to hobby in an environment where a good % of the ladies think it is OK to do such a thing.

I only do out-call at my cave which means I am really exposed. All it takes is one bat shit crazy provider and a false accusation to get your entire life plastered across the boards.

Granted the mods did the right thing but the problem is the current mindset of many Eccie ladies that outing in an open forum is acceptable if you're pissed enough.

All the mods can do is intervene after the damage is done and ban the disposable alias that was used to inflict the damage.

Combine this with mob mentality and your entire life can be destroyed in a heart beat. Not worth it to just to stick my dick in a rent-a-hole.

I'll gladly pay the cost of a dinner and an evening of being charming to get an overnighter. Not as convenient but it's sure as hell a shit load safer and you get a whole lot more bang for the buck.
