Before I congratulate you JR, just a few simple questions.
You have claimed to be 70 years old. You said in another thread that you quit using shaving cream 50 years ago. I'm not great at math but since this is 2015 and you claim to be 70, that means by my calculations that you were born in 1945. Assuming this to be true, how old were you when you marched in the "50's"? In 1950 you would have been 5, in 1959 you would be marching at the ripe old age of 14. While we're at it, in what city and state did these "marches" you claim to have been in take place? What was the name of the "cafe" and where was it located?
Last question JR..
Was BRIAN WILLIAMS in these marches with you?

In 1958 (I was 15) the cafe was somewhere near Bagnell Dam on the Lake of the Ozarks. The friend's father that was refused service was a college professor (and I won't say where he taught - but the white guys all knew him well). From 1954 to 1966 is twelve years (my age was 12 to 23). Most of us saw a lot during those years, if we paid attention.
Look up your civil rights history about what happened in those years. In 1966 I entered the US Marine Corps as a private with two college degrees, which put me into a position different from most. I saw a lot more during my tour in the military, both good and bad.
We can't change everything in the world. We can only change ourselves, if and only if, we think about the changes needed in ourselves.
Brian Williams is much too young to have experienced anything from the 50's or 60's. My personal opinion of Brian Williams will not be stated here because I can not find anything nice to say about him, or the news organization he represents.
