Giving. With Valentines day behind us.... Fess up.... Did you "give" with expectations of "getting"?

I have always felt that when one makes a decision to "give" that they should do so with no expectation of what might be received as a result. That to truly "give" to someone is satisfying to yourself and any expectation of any show of gratitude or some gift in return is extremely petty.......

Is Valentines Day the exception?

For example..... Lingerie is a long established gift thought of as romantic in nature that men give to women on Valentines Day.... Who gives a woman Lingerie and has zero expectations? I sure don't..... It's sure as hell not something for THEM to decide as to when they will wear it!

Thoughts?

I listed a special video in my Coed Happy Valentines Day thread for that one special lady in my life. All 6 of them text me saying thank you.

Lingerie is not a gift for the woman it's a gift to yourself... That doesn't mean she won't like it.

I have given a single rose to (the lucky dozen)girls at work and civie girl friends for years...no expectations at all. Its just a nice celebratiin of the day.

And if there IS that one special girl whoa to say SHE doesnt expect to get lucky in VDay too?

Surprise, surprise women get horny too.
What if you already had plans before giving?
