My guess is that BP adult section will soon be removed. Big trouble for them and I wouldn't waist your bitcoins, stay with just the free postings for now.

I ran to that problem, too! I set up the prepaid as each time I want to move the ad to the top. The fee will be taken out of that account. That transaction was successfully taken from Vanilla Prepaid Visa card. It is confusing but it went. It still take AMX.

Is anyone else having that problem with there ad disappearing or not showing up in the ad section? What about mailing in payment has anyone tried to do that?

u can get one called a serve card at Wal-Mart and they only cost 1.95
and u can load as little as 10 dollars on it

Well it wouldn't take my vanilla visa card but why waste money when you can post an ad than 2 hours later delete that ad and make a new one. It's been working for me so far. Just saying. All that other crap is confusing and I wouldn't trust sending any payment in.

Backpage responded free ads get moved to additional ads...My free ad stayed maybe 10mins, It was quite frustrating and then to find out they don't take mastercard.I reluctantly tried setting up bitcoin,only to be shut down with the request of take a picture next to your id. I had the same problem with my ad going MIA in 10 minutes. I have found out that once you post your free ad make sure you wait until it gives you the option of moving your ad to the top. Then you can use (atleast for now)your visa pre paid card to pay the 1.00 to move your ad up to the top of the listings. And yes although AMX pulled out before the other CC company's, AMX prepaid is still working. I myself will just continue to use the free post and pay the dollar to move my ad up rather then invest in bitcoins like the previous poster said, the adult section on BP might soon suffer the same fate as CL.
