Hi sexy people, I'm hoping to get a general idea about how guys feel about doing reviews so that I can determine my policy going forward, and how ladies handle their review discounts, if offered.
First off, I LOVE reviews. I think they are the YELP of the hobby world, and give the other gents an idea of what they can expect during their date with me.
Second, I truly appreciate the gents who are sweet enough to take the time and effort to do reviews for me. It gives a shout-out to my business, and also shows me that they valued our time together enough to extend this kindness. I offer a review discount to gents who are willing to go this extra step.
However, I'm finding that a few gents are not keeping their end of the bargain by doing a review as promised, and I'm not quite sure what to think of it. They indicate to me that they've had a great time, and their MSOG further supports it. But then weeks go by and the review doesn't happen.
For a single client, we're not talking a huge financial loss. But collectively, it adds up. And more so, it just feels dishonorable to me.
I'm torn between discontinuing the review discount altogether, and leaving the reviews to the discretion of the gents to do them if they choose to. I'm also considering only offering the discount on a subsequent visit after the review's been done, but don't want a client to feel I'm tying his hands to a second visit if that's not his desire.
I guess I'm curious as to how other providers handle review discounts, and how gents feel about doing reviews in general.
Thanks so much ~ Candice

I agree with you about reviews. I see them as a big benefit for both providers/client. It gives hobbyist information, and helps establish providers. Not to mention it is good fun reading.
I personally love writing reviews, and the discount that comes sometimes with them. And I would never renege on writing a review if I was given a special. Yes sometimes it might take me a couple days to get around to finding time to write it, but it will be wrote.
I've noticed a lot of providers only offer the review special with 24 hour review, and that seems fair to me.

Most providers only give a discount on the visit following a review being written, not on the visit being reviewed. Only way to guarantee that the review even gets written.

Sometimes, it may be a week or so before I publish it, but I do it. I have not yet had a provider tie the review discount to the next visit. That might be months away, and tracking that from a providers perspective seems like lot of work.
I'm not sure how you prevent this, some guys are just dicks this way. Guess you could add them to your DNS list, but that takes potential future revenue out of your pocket. You could attribute it to the cost of doing business.....

I love to write reviews as I think they are one of the primary tools you use to evaluate whether a provider fits your style. I get to re-live the experience as I write the review and think about what I want in the future. I sure do appreciate review discounts and I try to take advantage of them when they are available.
Can't speak to guys who don't write reviews. Sometimes people get busy and their review write up lags between the experience when the review is published. And some may just be taking advantage...to ruin it for everybody.

I have never ran review Specials..
But, I run specials.
I think it would be rather bottom of the barrel for someone to say that they were going to take advantage of the review special and not write a review... I also think that's the kind of information you should share with women so that those people don't do the same thing to them... In reference to Future women who run review specials that way those guys are blacklisted from participating in taking advantage of women's trust

I will also post their info in the ladies' lounge. Not to keep them from getting service because I enjoyed my time with them. But as a heads up for other ladies who might want to reconsider offering them a review special that won't be honored.

If you choose to offer review specials again, I would mention in the ad that they have 2-4 days to post the review. & if you've noticed they haven't posted a review after that period of time, get in contact with them. If they don't respond to you, then simply post something about them in the Alerts section & add them to the DNS list. I would also make sure that they have an established handle on here/have written reviews before letting them qualify for a review special. I believe other ladies need to be aware of the gentlemen who didn't honor your review special so they know who to look out for. I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you.

I agree with KVD and Savannah. If I'm seeing a lady with a review discount provision, I've agreed to post a review and feel responsible to honor my end of the agreement. A lady wants a review to boost her business and cache, I've accepted an offer that includes doing just that... anything less is me being dishonest.
That said, Ginger is on the money that not all hobbyists see things the same way. If a review is truly what you want, I like Gingers approach. Otherwise, if you're wanting to boost your cliente, a no clause special is the best way to go. That way hobbyists don't feel "obligated", you don't feel short changed/disrespected and you're very likely to get a positive review anyway, especially if you make the time with the gent a fun, memorable and repeatable experience....In that scenario everyone wins.

Yes, I have modified my profile to indicate that reviews have to be done within two weeks of meeting. I'm also verbally telling my gents in person. Today, I had a guy do his review the same day. My little overachiever! haha
Thanks for your comments, lovely.

Although I have no statistics, I do read a large number reviews in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa each and every day in my role as a moderator and I have a difficult time believing "most" girls offer review specials after an initial meeting only.
I do notice several girls who visit from Texas seem to receive reviews listing special fees for first visits.
Candice, since November 7th, you have received fourteen reviews. So, I can't say what your problem is, but you have been around this sub-subculture long enough to surely know guys will say anything to get a discount.

Thanks for your input. I'm sure you've seen it all as a mod. I'm going to continue to offer the review discount because from an entrepreneurial standpoint, I think it's a nice incentive... and I'm a nice lady. And if a guy doesn't honor his end of the bargain, that's his karma. Honestly, I don't want to run my business like "most" ladies, and I hope it shows!

I was gonna mention the TX girls too. There is a group of them that have very similar ad and rate structure and they almost always run review specials. They usually ask for same day reviews, probably to promote business in the city they are currently in. A review after they are gone doesn't have as much value to them. A review is advertising also.

Reviews are always fun to read. OP, you've been effective at getting the guys you've seen as of late, so between the discount, sharp business, and just getting it done like you do, I think it's working.
For me, reviews are hard to judge from except you can see if a girl is consistent and has menu items you like or don't like. References from favorite providers are the best reviews. I think the same guys kinda see the same girls after awhile. They can arrange a meeting through a double or simple introduction. It's good that the provider have some reference on my likes, dislikes, what not.
