I am not one to have a New Years day tradition...Now usually my daughter-in-law makes the traditional new years day food like blackeyed peas/ham or corned beef/cornbread & cabbage.....
BUT this year we are gonna have a family cajun fest...seafood filet gumbo/jambalaya/fried catfish/red beans & rice/crab spread/homemade hushpuppies{had to throw a little Texas in there...lol}/bread pudding w rum sauce/banana pudding

Do you have a tradition??

And do you make New years resolutions??

Mine is to loose a few pounds...shop less {how many purses and shoes can a woman have..lol}......and of course play more!!

My resolution is to finially settle down with the woman I have fallen in love with.
I dont have traditions typically, but I am ready to take my life forward.

I am pretty close to being off eccie forever. So many live will be better when that happens.

Every year I resolve to ignore other resolutions if they get in the way of fun.

And, congrates Mccaffery. That's the best kind of fun.

Switching from vegetarian to vegan! Also focusing more on hobbies I used to really enjoy (tennis, fencing, horseback riding to name a few) and I'd also like to learn how to code.

My grandfather used to tell me the only thing you will take with you when you leave this world is what you gave away.
Never made much sense until I got a little older. Giving is always better than receiving!!
Except in the bedroom then it goes both ways!!!!
