Not to mention, when you get a flu shot, that is only for the predominant strain and won't protect you from all strains of the flu virus. That being said, I still recommend getting a flu shot but it is still no guarantee from getting a flu virus.

Corona however, is more akin to a common cold than the flu, except this particular Coronavirus (Novel Corona) currently doesn't have a vaccine for the virus itself but we do have medicine and remedies for the symptoms the Coronavirus causes. I think the big issue like someone mentioned above, is the population density of China, especially in cities. Go look at some of their biggest water parks and how many people are in the wave pool, etc. It is literally insane how dense their population is so spreading any kind of virus is not any kind of surprising phenomenon especially compared to the rest of the World.

Not all, but most of the fatalities have been for older men who were not in the best health in the first place, especially if they were heavy smokers.

All that said, I would recommend following CDC guidelines for the Novel Coronavirus. I think one of the big take aways per the CDC is:

"Most people with common human coronavirus illness will recover on their own"

I think we mongers all understand and assume the risks, health, legality and otherwise of this hobby; it just comes with the territory. IMHO, I believe you are more at risk getting a cold or possibly the flu from visiting an AMP/SubAMP than getting the Coronavirus.

As for South Korea, well, if you love the police state...

It is a respiratory illness. It works much like the flu. Most people will get it at some point. As far as I know, neither bitching nor ignoring has prevented or cured any illness.

So, find something else that chills you out & keep away from other people. If you have it, don't exhale. If you don't have it, don't inhale.

Stay home. Touch nothing. Stop breathing.

Simple.

I recommend Netflix Korean dramas. There are a lot of good (albeit, older) dramas on there you can watch.
