If President Trump is to be replaced for whoever reason, voluntarily or by other means, before the end of his current term, there politically strtegiching to do is tuff it out till th Midterms.

If he steps down after the midterms, the current VP, JD Vance will automatically. become the President and server out the term. Given that, he could then run for two additional terms as president. . . . .ten years altogether. However, if he becomes President before the midterms, he will only be able to run for one additional term.
