Tough on his wife and kids too. They have had to move five times in the past ten years, even outside of the US. It takes a certain type of person to handle that. I was in the army. My job was in communications and yeah you get to move around quite a bit. I was in Germany for 2 years and assigned to a NATO unit in the Netherlands for 3 the rest was stateside in different locations.

also I was considering going for 20 years but a medical condition got in the way and I was retired at 12years 3 months 26 days
