Clearly there is a problem with management if they keep getting visits from the cops. The owner is a two time loser already.


Look at the timeline. April 14th, they got hit.

This thread is so busy with different posters claiming what did and didn't happen. Even when an event (mid-April) is agreed on then there is disagreement about whether it was a "bust" or a "visit". A lot of noise and I don't have enough information to decide which "side" is right. I haven't been to AS since they became AS so I don't have a reason to take a side.

Having said all that - I have a question.

If "safety" is the real issue AND this is the AMP forum then why isn't the focus on avoiding Sun Spa? They have had visits that don't seem to be disputed and historically AMP storefronts are easier targets to raid.

Why isn't the primary focus there instead of AS the Studio?

Maybe AS just got a letter like LA/Kfest did from LE warning them to shut it all down. The owner(s) of AS are pretty good about crawling back into their hole while they establish a new studio setup elsewhere, so their lineup is limited for the time being. But nobody knows what's up because doom/gloom is terrible in his tail chasing and flaccid delivery. We know that actual busts are indeed a matter of public record, so a source on all of this would still be welcomed by all, and with open arms at that.



But overall, I still think it's best for everyone to avoid the entire scene until somebody can get this pathetic Doom_Gloom_Guy's pathetic ass reined in as his board presence is not healthy for the community. Actually is there a way just to vote to get him banned again here or can we simply block him? That bumble bee nuisance outta be shown the door as well while we're at it.
