While I'm glad to be fully vaccinated for almost 4 months now, I can't rule out having a side effect.
Around the time of the first dose.. I did not track it, may have been before dose #1, but if so, not by much.. I got what I would describe as nerve pain, a dull lingering pain in both arms, from shoulder to wrist. Pain lasted 1-2 days, then gone. Came back after a few days, seemingly on particularly humid days.
Fortunately, the episodes seem to be reducing of late. May not be connected to the vax at all, but of course it is in my mind. Never had it before.
I haven't read about this as a known after-symptom. Originally Posted by Chung Tran

Some of the latest press reports out of Israel would indicate that Oeb, by having a previous infection, may be better protected than people like you and me who have had two mRNA shots. If I were Oeb I’d get vaccinated, because the downside is so limited. But it might make just as much sense for you and me to get boosters.

Then for some unknown reason you’re multiplying that by 30% and adding to the number of people who have been fully vaccinated. A lot of people who were vaccinated were also infected by COVID.
What we know about coronavirus so far suggests that, if we were really to go back to a pre-pandemic lifestyle, we would need at least 70%
At least 195,646,711 people or 60% of the population have received at least one dose.
Overall, 166,861,912 people or 51% of the population have been fully vaccinated.
30 Percent of People With COVID-19 Show No Symptoms
Total us cases of Covid: 36,268,057
Here's some math (yeah I know it's RAYCISS and maybe you can't follow but trust me, it's accurate)
36,268,057 * .30 = 10880417 + 166,861,912 = 177,742,329. Total population of the US = 330,000,000.
Therefore, 177,742,329/330,000,000 = 54% of the US population is supposedly immune to the Wuhan flu now. So another 5.3 Million people need to either be vaxxed or contract the Wuhan flu for Herd immunity to be reached.
Most of this is based on best guesstimates from the so-called scientific experts who are unable to determine if a person is male or female , so you have to take it with a grain of salt. Originally Posted by texassapper

After a week of it not getting better I went to a Doc in the box (before they had COVID tests) and they checked me for flu and it was negative. They said it was a sinus infection. Although my symptoms were more like the flu... it didn't burn in my sinus' like a typical sinus infection. So have I had COVID? I don't know, I haven't been tested for anti-bodies and don't care. I'm an ox in terms of health and pain tolerance. So I'm not concerned about it. So the .3 * 36 million is an attempt to estimate the number of folks who had COVID but don't know it for a certainty. Obviously it's an estimate.
In July in the Mayo Clinic system, the Pfizer vaccine was only judged to be 42% effective in preventing infection and the Moderna vaccine 76% effective, although both are much more effective at preventing severe disease. You have new variants popping up. With time immunity wears off, both in the previously infected and the vaccinated. Large parts of the world haven’t been vaccinated, or have been vaccinated with crappy Chinese vaccines. We may never reach herd immunity. Originally Posted by TinyTrue. But look at the upside. People like me who love masks can go on wearing them without appearing odd. And not only will we be protecting ourselves from the deadly COVID but flu and the common cold. No more sniffles! It’s an exciting time to be alive! Originally Posted by TinyYou go right ahead. I don't care if you double mask and wear a face shield. The health services have squandered their credibility. They've let the ChiComs lie about the origin of the Wuhan Flu and the NIH involvement in it. Big Tech has colluded with the govt. to censor opposing views and so that has only added to the credibility issues. In a word, the lack of governmental transparency whether through incompetence or design means I won't be getting vaxxed. If I get COVID and die... well such is life. It's all a calculated risk. But that's what having freedom means. Living in a prison cell is pretty safe but it's not for me. And no amount of coercion is going to change that. Originally Posted by texassapper
