sociopaths that torment them day in and day out with teachers that do nothing and then tell kids "Well if you get in a fight at all, you're getting expelled or suspended or detention. Even if you're just sitting there and someone else punches you in the head or whips a book at you for no reason and then act all surprised pikachu when they think "Well I'm going to get in trouble and my life will be ruined either way because I'm 15 and an idiot and I think my parents will kill me if I get kicked out of school and my life will be over!" and they go full fucking tilt with an uzi and a few pipe bombs.
When I was in school Columbine had just happened and they were just starting zero tolerance policies. Punching someones teeth in for touching you/throwing something at you/shoving you and talking tough was the regular course of action before that zero tolerence bullshit.
It all got a lot worse after that because it suddenly became "Well I'm fucked if I do, I'm fucked if I don't"
We brought this problem on ourselves by having a shitty education system with too many students and underpaid/undertrained teachers and parents who aren't teaching their kids to sit down, behave, do your work, and stop acting like little fucking monsters.
I've spent time doing work in schools and the way a lot of these kids act would get a belt broken over your ass and worse when your parents got an ear full back in my day. Kids don't even hesitate to attack fucking teachers now. It's disgusting and it's hard to say whats failing the youth of america more. The public education system or their own parents.
Back in my day isn't even that long ago, I'm not even fucking 40 yet. Originally Posted by bargainbento
