Best beer commercial ever

Lmao its called upswing. Over the past year Bud Light's parent company has enjoyed nearly 17% growth in total valuation. Imaging trying to protest 'WOKE' beer brands and in the process inspiring growth in the market. So many brands known for their Pride support grew bigger and stronger in the aftermath of Kid Rock's viral video (the one shooting BL cans not the more recent ones of him drinking BL lol) they should send him some free beer.

As for the Gristle nonsense much as I appreciate the comparison he is the deeper thinking between us and pretty much all around more eloquent though our life views do align in many ways. A toast to his missed presence my Bud Light is quite cold and ready to be enjoyed! Originally Posted by DNinja69

Molson-Coors is addressing the market trend I called out dozens of pages ago with the need for a strategic pivot. Despite their increased sales they need to do something else to continue to grow, including looking outside of their traditional products, to find different ways to market to Gen Z.

Substantial difference in their alcohol consumption.

And that's coming from a company that gained market share in this controversy.

OOOOOF

It just won't end even though some ill informed leftists said this was very temporary and would blow over quickly:

"ABInBev’s beer volumes fell -14.5% in the latest 4 weeks, notably worse than the market at -2.9%... Bud Light volumes fell -29.9% and Bud volumes fell -24.9%., compared to -29.7% and -24.9%"

It can be spun 1000 different ways to make it seem a bump in the road but the fact is the boycotting hurt, and was a shot across the bow to others that there’s a powerful anti-woke lobby. In this case a goliath corporation absorbed the loss, but that’s not nearly true in all cases.

So much angst over a beer can..

An insight that continues to elude many in these forums on the similarities between hobbyists and the queer community pings my irony meter especially for those who would not dare admit to enjoying AMP visits or locks their burner phone in a gun safe. Its just a different closet but the idea is pretty much the same. Sexuality does not define whether someone is a good or bad person it just makes some of us different than others of us.

I will be enjoying some cold Bud Light later as I dive into some kink time. Cheers!

Snark on, brotha.

You still can't see where this segment is going. You're still mixing up the market cap discussion with the YoY sales volume on one of their weakest years vs one of their record highs... in a contracting market.

BUD is less than $1 per share from it's 52 week high. Think about that. Snarkists still haven't looked at where it was 5 years ago or connected the dots.

Beer has continued to fall as an overall category. Americans drank 2 billion less beers in 2023, which was the lowest consumption since 1999. A trend I called out and folks ignored. Mexican style beers continue to grow while many craft beers are in jeopardy of going bust. Constellation missed its sales targets despite Modelo growth, while AB exceeded its targets despite the locked in Bud Light sales losses, which stabilized months ago and haven't expanded. Younger folks continue to prefer liquor, hard seltzers, and non-alcoholic drinks over beer and the shift in tastes seems to have accelerated.

Kid Rock publicly announced he ended his boycott despite being caught drinking and selling Bud Light while he was pretending to boycott. Proved the poser I called him out as.

Joe Rogan has come out multiple times supporting Bud Light and Annheiser Busch. Had negative things to say about the boycott and rationale. Before the UFC deal.

The UFC entered a major partnership with Bud Light. Dana White has praised Bud Light and AB and their patriotism and aligned American values as being reasons to select them over other brands to work with.

Bud Light is also still enjoying a strong partnership with football and with the NFL. Manning and Smith have some great new ads.

And the Trumps are still backers of Anheiser Busch and still have decent investments in BUD stock. Not as much as Bill Gates, whose foundation's buy earlier this year is pretty profitable rn despite the premature calls of it being a bust back in late Oct and early Nov.

No, their losses stabilized months ago. Sales have been consistent. Same for market share.

You need some new talking points. The potential strike in March may have far more impact.
