I take nothing away from the bravery of the Hamas soldiers who are fighting in this battle, but it is simply not credible that Hamas could have done this... It seems much more likely that Netanyahu orchestrated this as an easy way to solve his political problems while also providing a pretext for the IDF to finish the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and perhaps the West Bank as well.
It's like Israel is having its own "9/11" with the same suspicious, "how did this happen". War usually needs a reason to start. 9/11 was the US reason for the Gulf War, Gulf of Tonkin was the reason for Vietnam, and now Israel has a reason. No, I think all wars begin in secret rooms with men who do not give a damn for innocent people, period.

Create a problem, offer the solution of more tyranny to solve said problem. I've seen too much to think these people aren't gleeful to kill their own to advance their means.
